Browse without
the nonsense.

Orbit blocks ads, kills popups, and protects your privacy โ€” all without extensions. It just works.

The Android version is sideloaded โ€” it was removed from the Play Store because it blocks ads. When Play Protect warns you, tap "Install Anyway." It's safe.

What you get

Everything a modern browser should have. Nothing it shouldn't.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Blocks everything

Ads, trackers, cookie banners, "open in app" popups, autoplay videos. Over 124,000 filter rules plus a smart engine that catches what filters miss.

๐Ÿ”‘

Built-in password manager

Your passwords are encrypted with AES-256 and stored locally. Auto-fill, auto-save โ€” like Bitwarden, but built into the browser. We never see your data.

๐Ÿฟ

Netflix & streaming work

Orbit ships with Widevine DRM built-in. Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Spotify โ€” all work out of the box. No plugins needed.

โœ“
Smart ad blocker โ€” learns from your browsing and remembers what to block permanently
โœ“
Tab napping โ€” idle tabs are paused to save memory, restored instantly on click
โœ“
Session restore โ€” close the browser, every tab comes back when you reopen
โœ“
Import your stuff โ€” bookmarks & history from Chrome, Edge, Brave in one click
โœ“
HTTPS everywhere โ€” automatically upgrades insecure connections
โœ“
Per-site controls โ€” disable the ad blocker on any site with one click
โœ“
Screenshot, PiP, QR codes โ€” built-in tools, no extensions needed
โœ“
Dark mode & reading tools โ€” system-wide dark mode, read aloud, built-in notepad
โœ“
Zero telemetry โ€” nothing leaves your computer. No analytics. No tracking. Period.
โœ“
Fingerprint protection โ€” randomizes canvas and WebGL to prevent tracking

What's missing (and why)

Every browser has trade-offs. Most don't tell you. We do.

โš

No extensions

You can't install Chrome extensions. This is intentional โ€” extensions can access everything you browse, which makes them a security risk. Orbit already includes an ad blocker, password manager, and dark mode, so you shouldn't need them.

โ—

No auto-updates yet

Right now you have to come back here to download the latest version manually. We're adding automatic updates in the next release โ€” it's the #1 priority.

โš

No cloud sync

Your bookmarks and passwords don't sync between devices through the cloud. We think cloud sync means trusting a server with your data โ€” we'd rather not. You can transfer data between your devices directly over Wi-Fi instead.

โ„น

First video of a session may buffer briefly

When you first open the browser, the first video on some streaming sites might take a couple extra seconds to start. Orbit handles ad-related tokens in the background so the rest of your session stays clean and instant.

โ„น

One profile only (for now)

There's no way to switch between Work and Personal profiles yet. Incognito mode is available if you need a separate session. Multiple profiles are coming in a future update.
